ABOUT TERESA
HI THERE!
As an endless creative and natural communicator, I have been telling stories since I could talk and writing them since I could write. For over 15 years, I helped businesses build and share their brands throughout various industries and roles in sales, marketing, and public relations. Although I reached a seeming level of success, I found myself caught up in convention which did not serve me and kept me still. There was so much I wanted to do and instead of being bound by roles and definitions I decided to start designing the life I wanted. I started my own consulting boutique, became an award-winning editor, and co-authored a book. At the heart of it all is the hope to authentically show up as myself and share all my many facets while equally inspiring other women to do the same.

Teresa Sturino Schiavone is an award-winning editor with over fifteen years of experience helping organizations build their brands and tell their stories through roles in marketing, public relations, and communications. After the birth of her daughter, Sienna, in 2015, Teresa decided to leave her corporate life behind. Inspired by her love of writing and her passion for style and design, she began her own consulting boutique Sassi Creative Co., and founded a magazine sharing and celebrating women’s stories. She credits her motherhood journey as the inspiration to start pursuing her dreams and live the life she wanted. Teresa resides in Mississauga, Ontario, with her daughter and husband, and hopes that by sharing her story she can inspire other women to do the same.
